Knights of St Columba

Knights of St Columba

The Order of the Knights of St Columba recognises that the Church has been engaged in a continuous process of 'reaching out' to evangelise and that people have taken this up through Catholic action, education activities, charitable works, and their very presence in all manner of public-facing activities.

Sponsored Walk

Our annual Sponsored Walk in support of the Brentwood Catholic Children's Society took place on Sunday, 11th June.  Seventeen walkers took part and had a very pleasant time!

Ii's not too late to sponsor them, you can still do so online here:

Nepal Appeal

We are very proud to invite Mickey Gordon, MBE to talk on his work in Nepal

Every year for the past thirty years, Mickey, a parishioner has been taking groups of young people from London’s East End to undertake an educational project, as part of their Personal and Social Development as well as to help develop a school in the remote community of Barpak in central Nepal.

In 2015 a major earthquake, with the epicentre only 2 miles away, devastated the village and its school, so Mickey has to start this process again!

Please join us in the Avila Room, St. Teresa’s Hall at 8pm on Thursday 15th June 2017

Entry is free.  Donations are welcome.
